English TranslationAt that time Arjuna, the son of P─Бс╣Зс╕Нu, seated in the chariot bearing the flag marked with Hanum─Бn, took up his bow and prepared to shoot his arrows. O King, after looking at the sons of Dhс╣Ыtar─Бс╣гс╣нra drawn in military array, Arjuna then spoke to Lord Kс╣Ыс╣гс╣Зa these words.
English Commentary The battle was just about to begin. It is understood from the above statement that the sons of Dhс╣Ыtar─Бс╣гс╣нra were more or less disheartened by the unexpected arrangement of military force by the P─Бс╣Зс╕Нavas, who were guided by the direct instructions of Lord Kс╣Ыс╣гс╣Зa on the battlefield. The emblem of Hanum─Бn on the flag of Arjuna is another sign of victory because Hanum─Бn cooperated with Lord R─Бma in the battle between R─Бma and R─Бvaс╣Зa, and Lord R─Бma emerged victorious. Now both R─Бma and Hanum─Бn were present on the chariot of Arjuna to help him. Lord Kс╣Ыс╣гс╣Зa is R─Бma Himself, and wherever Lord R─Бma is, His eternal servitor Hanum─Бn and His eternal consort S─лt─Б, the goddess of fortune, are present. Therefore, Arjuna had no cause to fear any enemies whatsoever. And above all, the Lord of the senses, Lord Kс╣Ыс╣гс╣Зa, was personally present to give him direction. Thus, all good counsel was available to Arjuna in the matter of executing the battle. In such auspicious conditions, arranged by the Lord for His eternal devotee, lay the signs of assured victory.
